As society develops, people care more about safety, especially in access and door control; traditional cards and passwords are no longer safe, demanding smarter solutions. With its technical strength and innovation, CoolCode provided a face-recognition-based access and elevator-control solution with remarkable success.

Customer needs & solution

Fuzhou Shimao Fusheng Qianlong Plaza is a large office tower with multiple floors and companies per floor, needing efficient, safe and convenient access management. Traditional cards/passwords no longer meet owners’ and tenants’ safety needs, requiring a smarter one-stop access & elevator solution.

CoolCode provided a face-recognition-based access and door-control solution comprising face turnstiles, face elevator control and a back-office system. Users register their face once, then just verify by face thereafter; it also supports card and QR, so owners can scan a mini-program QR if they forget their card. Visitors get permission via the owner’s invitation code after registering in the mini-program — no need for the owner to escort them. The system supports back-office monitoring of each floor’s access and handling of anomalies.

Process & results

As a retrofit, elevators stayed in service during construction, so arranging work to keep devices running and quickly deployed was critical and challenging. CoolCode’s technical team surveyed and designed the building, detailing installation positions, network connections and data transmission, and kept close communication with staff for smooth execution.
