The VF205 is an all-in-one terminal centered on face recognition. It runs the Linux OS, stores the face database locally (up to 50,000 faces) and outputs the person ID upon successful recognition. Unlike the VF105 — which integrates face, temperature measurement, QR scan and card swipe — the VF205 manual describes only face-verification capability, without temperature, card or QR module parameters, positioning it as a pure "face recognition device". The device features an 8-inch high-brightness LCD touchscreen, real human-voice announcements and a reserved microphone; communication covers RS485, Wiegand, Ethernet (4G and GPS expandable); it supports protocol-mode secondary development as well as logo, protocol and OEM customization. Its applicable scenarios resemble those of the VF105, covering turnstile lanes, offices, communities, schools and hospitals where face access control and identity verification are required.
