Thank you for using the VF114 face / temperature / QR / card terminal. Reading this document carefully will help you understand its functions and features, and quickly master its use and installation.

Product Introduction The VF114 integrates face, IC card, QR, cloud ID, infrared temperature and a TTS voice library. It supports TCP/HTTP/MQTT and works in transparent, protocol and offline-access modes, with IP66 rating, suitable for epidemic-prevention scenarios (face temperature, mask detection, ID health auth, health-code auth). Ideal for offices, hotels, turnstiles, banks, hospitals, schools, malls and communities.

OS Linux, 8GB storage, ARM Cortex A7 MP2 1GHz. Display 5.5" 720×1280. Wired 10/100M, WiFi 2.4G, RS485, Wiegand 26/34. Physical: 1 tamper switch, relay 30V1A, 2 alarm inputs. Power 9–24V DC (12V typ.), 14.4W. Cameras: RGB D70.3/H63/V38 f2.0 1920×1080 4.35mm; IR D68/H60/V37 f2.2 1616×1232 2.35mm. Temperature ±0.3°C within 1m, 10–35°C. Speaker 8Ω 2W; fire-rated ABS+acrylic. -20 to 55°C, 10–90% RH. ESD 8KV; IP66.

Card: 13.56MHz, antenna 42×28mm, 0–5cm; S50/S70/FM1208/MIFARE EV1 4K/Desfire/Ultralight/NTAG216/ID etc. QR: QR/PDF417, phone screen, 640×480, tilt ±40°/rotate ±360°/skew ±30°, H62/V49, ≥7mil, 0–10cm, 0–80000Lux. Face: mask detection; 1:N anti-photo/video; IR liveness; 5000 capacity, 0.3–1.5m, ≥97% pass rate, ≤0.01% FAR, <1s.

Six terminals: 1 relay (NO/COM/NC); 2 Wiegand (D0/D1/GND); 3 alarm in (IN1/IN2/GND); 4 RS485 (485A/485B/GND); 5 RJ45; 6 DC power.

Transparent: QR/card pass through, face matches local DB only. Protocol: host receives via 485/TCP/HTTP and returns auth (protocol doc on site). Developer: card R/W only. Local whitelist: local comparison.

Login backend: after networking, top-right shows network icon, bottom-right IP, top-left time, bottom-left SN. Put PC and device on same network, browse http://deviceIP:8060/, user admin / password password. Set device config password for mode/upgrade/reset.

Scenario 1 (networked, free pass): backend → personnel → add (ID/name/photo) → set face/QR/card to transparent → save. Scenario 2 (whitelist): backend → whitelist → add (ID) → validity → save.

Standalone: device to server software via network, online auth, exit button to power, lock to power. With security module: VF114 + SA100 form a higher-security system (encrypted 485). See SA100 manual.

Settings: basic (brightness, sleep, screensaver, SN/IP/logo, volume, time, zone, name); records; voice/output (photos, success/fail voice, relay, 485, Wiegand); alarm; tamper; fill light; face; card; QR; channel; auth mode; network; MQTT; camera calibration; time.

Face photo: 80–512px, 50–300K, 512–800×640–1024, JPG, natural, no occlusion; register within the frame 2–3s. Unused pins MUST be insulated or user bears short-circuit damage. Avoid backlight/direct sun (hurts face and temperature). Strong light disturbs temperature module.
