Thank you for using the M340 scanner. Reading this document carefully will help you understand the device functions and features, and quickly master its use and installation.
Product Introduction The M340 is a scanner developed for access-control scanning, with TTL, Wiegand, RS485 and RS232 outputs, suitable for turnstiles, access control and kiosk embedding.

Interface Definition
232/485 version: 1 VCC, 2 GND, 3 232RX/485A, 4 232TX/485B, 5 TTL_TX/Wiegand D1, 6 TTL_RX/Wiegand D0. TTL/Wiegand switchable by config.
Device Configuration
Use the configuration tool; select M300 (same platform); output/serial params; options; generate config code; scan; power-cycle.
Installation
Avoid strong light; tempered glass window; keep metal 10cm from RFID antenna.
Precautions
1, 12–24V power. 2, No disassembly. 3, Avoid strong light; clean window; metal disturbs NFC. 4, Firm, insulated wiring.
