Thank you for using the EE handheld barcode scanner. Reading this document carefully will help you understand the device functions and features, and quickly master its use and installation. The company is not liable for property or personal injury caused by improper operation. Develop products per the technical specifications and reference designs herein. The company may revise this manual as technology evolves.
Product Introduction The EE is a long-range scanner for parking-booth toll scenarios, with USB and RS232 interfaces, IP66 waterproof rating, suitable for outdoor use.

Precautions 1, Do not disassemble or modify the hardware. 2, Keep away from fire; if abnormal smell, overheating or smoke occurs, cut power and contact the dealer or support. 3, If dropped and damaged, cut power and contact support. 4, Place on stable, level surfaces; avoid moisture and dust.

Interface Definition
PIN: 1 NC, 2 DATA+ USB D+, 3 DATA- USB D-, 4 GND, 5 VCC (RS232 TX), 6 TX-232 (USB D-), 7 RX-232 (USB D+), 8–10 NC.

Usage
USB version: connect RJ45 to EE and USB to host; device beeps and enters scan mode. RS232 version: connect RJ45 to EE, DB9 to host RS232, USB for power only. Configure via setup codes or the config tool; power-cycle to apply.
Product Settings Scan the corresponding setup code, then power-cycle to apply.
Work Modes Normal mode scans continuously; Developer mode exposes data via API/protocol.
Interface Switch USB / RS232. Baudrate 115200/57600/38400/19200/9600/4800/2400/300 (8-N-1). Code type QR-only / all. Add/remove CR and LF. Scan mode single / interval (0.3–3s). Post-scan action buzzer / white light / red light / both.
Config Tool Use the configuration tool to configure (download from the official download center): select device, output mode, scan settings (code type, prefix/suffix, CR/LF, scan mode, post-scan action), generate config code, scan it, power-cycle.





































Development
The scanner supports secondary development; download the SDK or communication protocol from the official site. USB dev: set developer mode and power-cycle, then use the SDK (C++/C#/Java, Windows/Android). Serial dev: set developer mode and use the communication protocol.
