Electrical: power DC 5–15V; current 150mA (12V typ.); power 1800mW (5V typ.). Environment: ESD ±8kV air/contact; -20 to 70°C operation, -40 to 80°C storage; 5–95% RH.
Connector
Wiegand connector; 485 connector; Wiegand+485 connector. Pinout: VCC power+, GND ground, D0 Wiegand0, D1 Wiegand1, 485A, 485B, WG protocol-select (floating=W26, low=W34).
Installation
The RFID antenna is under the front panel; keep metal and magnetic material at least 10cm away or swipe performance drops sharply.

Configuration Commands
The reader uses a binary command/response protocol (header 0x55 0xAA; command, flag, length, data, XOR checksum). Key commands: 0x01 status query, 0x02 get device ID, 0x04 LED/buzzer control, 0x51 read M1 block, 0x52 write M1 block, 0xA0 read multiple blocks in a sector, 0xA1 write multiple blocks, 0xA6 send APDU (CPU cards), 0x53 card-number report on/off. Configuration items cover baudrate (default 115200-8-N-1), device number, LED/buzzer, output format (hex/dec/string, protocol or passive mode) and report interval. Refer to the device protocol manual for full byte-level details.
Communication Protocol
Same 0x55 0xAA framing as above. Card-number reporting supports type-agnostic (0x30) and type-aware (0x33) modes; the host polls or the reader pushes passively. NFC operations support Mifare One block R/W and CPU-card APDU; use START/FINISH task flags around multi-step card operations.
