Wuxi Huishan Software Park, a high-tech park gathering many innovative enterprises, has long been committed to a safe, efficient work environment. To further raise access-management level, it recently completed a comprehensive access upgrade.
The upgrade selected advanced face-recognition access devices using the latest technology for fast, accurate identity recognition, greatly improving security and efficiency.
CoolCode’s face-recognition access devices are not only elegant and fitting the park’s modern environment, but also powerful enough for all its needs.
During construction, challenges arose: with many enterprises and frequent flow, work had to avoid disrupting normal operations. The team communicated fully with management and enterprises beforehand and made a detailed plan.
Crews installed equipment and laid lines on weekends, holidays and after hours. Installation followed standards strictly for stable operation; line layout was planned to minimize damage to existing facilities with proper protection and signage. After orderly work, the face devices were gradually installed.
The management platform is the core of the system — powerful and easy to use. It centrally manages all personnel info (entry, modification, deletion), and real-time monitoring lets managers track each access point and act on anomalies.
Data analytics supports decisions — e.g., analyzing flow data to arrange security staff and optimize services. Permission management is flexible, setting different access by need to secure each zone. The platform also supports remote control via phone or PC.
Valuable experience was gained: effective communication with all parties (before, during and after) is vital; training should be done early for managers and employees; and contingency plans for device/network failures are indispensable.
Some difficulties appeared — during debugging, a few devices had unstable links to the platform, resolved by repeatedly tuning parameters and optimizing the network.
